Thundcrest

Privacy Policy

Effective 14 August 2026

Thundcrest is a single-player puzzle game that runs entirely on your device. It does not collect, transmit, or share your personal data — there is no account to create and no sign-in of any kind.

Information we collect

None that leaves your device. Thundcrest has no accounts, no login, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs that gather data. We do not know who you are, and we never see your play.

What is stored on your device

Your climb is saved locally so you can pick it back up: stars and cleared rungs, your Sparks and the hints and skins you own, crest progress, the daily-puzzle record, and your sound and haptics preferences. This save lives only in the app's own storage on your device and is never uploaded.

Motion data

The Boltrun tilt maze reads your device's motion sensor so you can roll the storm orb by tilting. This motion data is used only in the moment, on your device, to control the ball. It is never recorded, stored, or transmitted, and it is used for nothing else.

How the game uses this information

Locally stored progress exists for one reason: to remember where you are in the ascent and honour your settings. It powers nothing outside the app.

Data retention and deletion

Because everything is stored on your device, you are always in control. Resetting the ascent in Skyloft clears your saved progress, and deleting Thundcrest removes all of its stored data from your device.

Children's privacy

Thundcrest is a family-friendly puzzle game suitable for a general audience. It collects no personal information from anyone, children included.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued play after an update means the current policy applies.
